How well the group managed time; Alice

Our group managed time relatively well. In the group we divided the tasks between the three of us. We tried divide them equally so each person had the same if not similar amount of tasks to do. We also divided the tasks so we each had a more complex and time consuming task and more easier task to do as well. If one of us found a task to difficult then we would ask someone else in the group if they understood it and if they would swap a task with them so everyone was happy and so the work would get done.

We worked relatively quickly through the pre-production work. Mia, Jessie and I worked individually on our tasks we were given and occasionally  helped each other when we were unsure and were stuck on what to do.  Due to the fact that we chose our tasks based on our strength we felt comfortable doing it and managed to complete it in the time period we had to do it in.  When it came to planning for our advert we all had very similar ideas and we agreed on nearly everything, so choosing the style of our advert, shots used and the general plot was quick and easy.


The filming and editing took the most amount of time. We had to wait for all of the actors to be there. They all arrived at different times which made the amount of time we had filming even shorter. Some of our actors had a curfew so we had to make sure we had to finish filming before then. A major problem occurred when the camera battery died and there wasn't enough time to charge it before the actors had to leave. We solved this problem by using another camera which belonged to one of us. The quality wasn't as high but it meant that we would actually get something filmed.

Jessie was our main editor and she felt slightly more comfortable using it than me and Mia at the time. It took Jessie less time to edit the whole advert together than it would of if I was editing it. All of the clips had just enough time to fit all together perfectly and were easy to edit together.

Overall, I think that my group managed time really well. I think this because we agreed on nearly everything, were worked really hard and concentrated on the tasks we were given and we managed to complete them in the time period we were given.
